I am aiming to set a standard for Para cycling to show what is possible. I am a C5, upper limb amputee from birth. When younger I raced crits and TTs (becoming National Champion in 2003, 2004). More recently I have rediscovered my love of cycling through going further as a member of Audax UK. I have also come full circle in entering National level British Cycling events again alongside the current generation of Para cyclists. These guys are phenomenal.
My journey into cycling started as a 14 year old, riding John O' Groats to Lands End with the high school music teacher, who encouraged me and allowed me to see that cycling could be a sport for me. What I now want to do is open the door to ultra cycling and unsupported events to other riders, showing what is out there and what it is possible to achieve.
